When a Great Kiskadee interrupts the day,

you smile like someone

who has just received an old letter.

Not because you are waiting for signs,

but because your soul is still moved

by what the world has unlearned

to notice.

Welcome.

This website is a quiet gathering place for poetry, visual storytelling, reflections, and the small wonders that often go unnoticed in the rush of everyday life.

I have always lived between two worlds.

From my father, I inherited a love of wonder — long conversations about the stars, curiosity about how things work, and the habit of looking up. From my mother came music, movement, an appreciation for beauty in its many forms, and the habit of looking within. Together, they taught me that science and art are not opposites, but different ways of paying attention.

Curiosity has shaped much of my life. Over the years, it led me through the sciences, from the study of the physical world to the study of the mind, and eventually into medicine and research. Though those paths may seem different from poetry and visual storytelling, they grew from the same impulse: a desire to understand, to observe closely, and to remain in conversation with wonder.

This space is less a record of where I have been than a gathering of what continues to move me: a line of poetry, a changing sky, a fleeting expression, a memory, a question, a moment of unexpected light.

Lately, I have found myself drawn more and more toward simplicity—not the absence of complexity, but the quiet recognition of what truly matters.

A meaningful conversation.

A walk beneath an open sky.

A song remembered after many years.

Time spent with the people we love.

The ordinary moments that, somehow, become the ones we carry with us.

Everything you find here grows from that place.

These pages are not meant to provide answers or lessons. They are an invitation to pause, to look closely, and to spend a little time with what might otherwise be overlooked.

Thank you for being here.

I hope you find something that stays with you.
